PARTICIPATION

When you attend Future Leaders in Travel Retreat, powered by TravelAge West, you have the opportunity to form relationships with the best and brightest young talent in our industry. Advisors in attendance are between the ages of 22 and 40 and are brought together with suppliers to network, share ideas and learn from each other. Not only will you be able to tap into the minds of these young leaders and connect with them as they build their travel career foundations, but you’ll also have the chance to educate them on your unique brand while molding and shaping their opinions. Relationships formed at past events have continued to grow and have proven to be incredibly fruitful. Attending Future Leaders is an investment in the future of your company.

During the event, attendees will:

Recruiting for Future Leaders

First and foremost, we reach out to our valued GTM alumni—advisors and suppliers—and ask them to send us their best young advisors and ICs. These are always the first applicants we consider. We also ask our Future Leaders alums and past Guides for referrals. And, we target the age group through focused marketing across all of our media platforms. Our impressive group of attendees have been selected through a comprehensive application process requiring advisors to demonstrate their personal brand, share thoughts on the current state of the industry, demonstrate goals for their business and provide at least two industry references they have known for at least a year.

Standard participation for one representative includes:

  • One representative

  • All meals during programming

  • Outdoor activities

  • Evening networking events

  • One-on-one meetings
